LTA/M&A Technical Due Diligence

Our understanding of the commercial, legal and financial implications of technical risks makes a difference in acquisition and lending operations, where business acumen and fluency are of the essence.

With twenty years’ experience in the infrastructure sector, our experts go well beyond the engineering approach to costs and delays in a risk matrix. Our understanding of the commercial, legal and financial implications of technical risks makes a clear difference in acquisition and lending operations, where business acumen and fluency are of the essence.

We have produced or assessed CapEx and OpEx models, lifecycle plans, performance mechanisms, management structures and key project agreements for over 100 assets. Solvere’s independent approach consistently factors in issues such as very long-term concessions, detailed life-cycle models, resilience assessment, upside and downside risks of disrupting technologies and probabilistic modeling for prioritisation of contingencies.

PPP / Government Advisory

We are advisors to government institutions in the development and implementation of infrastructure Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), from capacity building and project screening to feasibility, structuring and transaction.

We advise governments and multilateral development institutions such as the ADB, UNDP and UN Habitat in the planning, screening, structuring and transaction of infrastructure projects. We have broad experience in the integration of technical matters in project cost-benefit evaluation, value for money assessment and institutional and regulatory sector reform.

Solvere’s knowledge of the private sector perspective makes a distinct difference in the development of feasibility studies and the robustness of the business cases that are brought to the market. Our experience as public sector advisors includes capacity building for government bodies and preparation of knowledge products.
